‘Tis the season of goodwill – especially so far as rail passengers in Prestatyn are concerned, at least.
Children from Ysgol Penmorfa visited the station last week to sing carols and see the tree erected in the booking office by the Friends of Prestatyn Railway Station. The group has brightened the office for the past five years.
Vale of Clwyd MP Chris Ruane joined the children and persuaded to sing around the tree.
While there the children were also given a short talk on the importance of safety on the railway, of particular relevance following three deaths on the North Wales coast line in the past couple of weeks.
