A MAN has fled after an attempted robbery at a Rhyl Newsagents.
Police are still on the scene at the incident, which took place at High Street News on Wellington Road.
The suspect, a male, demanded cash from the register before fleeing the scene empty handed.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "We are appealing for information following attempted robbery at a newsagents in Wellington Road this morning (Thursday) at about 8.40am. "The male demanded cash from the till, but fled empty handed and left on foot towards Warren Road.
"No one was hurt."
