A MAN entered a Rhyl store brandishing a knife.
The incident happened at about 7.25pm last night (Tuesday, November 20). The man entered the Bridgegate Stores on Bridgegate Road and demanded money.
When the shop assistant refused to engage with the offender he fled empty handed.
Detective Inspector Simon Kneale of St Asaph CID said: “Thankfully nobody was harmed in the course of the incident, but offences like this can be extremely traumatic for the victims.
“This is the second robbery we have seen in the area in the space of a few days and we would ask members of the community to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity around their local stores.
“We are viewing local CCTV and would ask anybody who was in that vicinity around that time or passing with a Dashcam to make contact."
