YOUTH volunteers gathered on Rememberance Sunday to pay their respects to the fallen in Meliden.
The former Mayor of Prestatyn and Meliden cllr Gerry Frobisher was joined by the 1st Meliden Brownies and a representative from Prestatyn Army Cadets to represent the Young Dragons/Dreigiau Ifanc for a short service at Meliden Gardens of Remembrance.
Also attending the service, wreath laying ceremony and two minute silence were residents and cllr Anton Sampson, the current Mayor, as well as Town and County Councillors.
Those paying respects then headed to St Melyd's Church for a further service taken by the Vicar of Meliden, Reverend John Harvey.
