A LITTLE girl awarded the title of Minnie Face Of Wales 2018 is hoping for a dazzling encounter when she meets her favourite princesses at Disney.

Dahna-Kay Hornby-Mee is to travel to Disneyland Paris in November. The six-year-old, a finalist for Face of Wales 2018, was crowned the new Minnie Face of Wales 2018 at an event in Mold.

The St Asaph VP Infant school pupil is now gearing up to represent Wales in the international finals at Disney at the Face of Europe and the World.

Over the past months, Dahna-Kay has been tirelessly fundraising for charity and carrying out appearances.

Mum Kasey, who is married to James, said: “Dahna-Kay has been to local foodbanks, clothing banks and Glan Clwyd Hospital’s children’s ward. Dahna-Kay has regular visits to this ward.

“She did a prize bingo in October and organised a Halloween disco on October 28 at St Asaph Spring Gardens.

“She has attended many events and raised awareness for the charity Headway East Kent.”

From when Dahna-Kay entered Face of Wales and after she won until today's date, she has raised more than £3000 in total.

Dahna-Kay’s favourite Disney princess, who she is hoping to meet, is Ariel from The Little Mermaid.
