A HOLIDAY park was fined after failing to submit official documentation.
At Llandudno Magistrates Court, on October 9, a case against Lyons Holiday Parks Limited - New Coast Road, Rhyl - of failing to submit documentation to comply with condition 4.2 and 4.3 of site licence number CCBC60, was proved in their absence.
Lyons Holiday Parks Limited was fined £1,500, ordered to pay £81 costs and a victim surcharge of £150 - a total of £1,731.
Lyons Holiday Parks Limited is the holder of a site licence at Oakfield Caravan Park, Morfa Avenue, Kinmel Bay. A new site licence was issued under Caravan Sites and Control of Development Act 1960 on the 21 February 2018.
In order to comply with the site licence conditions, Lyons Holiday Parks Limited is required to submit a copy of their flood consequence assessment and flood evacuation policy.
A spokesperson from Conwy County Borough Council said: "To date the required finalised documentation has not been received."
