A blockbuster Wales Rally GB is set to roar into action across North Wales on Thursday.

The event will start Thursday night with the opening stage under lights at Towyn's Tir Prince Raceway before heading to the slate mountains, for the first time in the rally's history, and Snowdonia National Park territory on Friday.

On Saturday the race will head to mid Wales close to Machynlleth and Aberystwyth before concluding with a circuit around Llandudno's Great Orme on Sunday and the ceremonial finish on the promenade.
