YOU can make a start now to become a lifeguard next summer.
Pre-course fitness tests, ready for summer 2019, are open now for anyone interested in getting qualified to become an RNLI beach lifeguard in North Wales.
The test will take place at Rhyl Leisure Centre in the run up to the course commencing on Monday, October 29 where you will be required to swim 16 lengths of a 25 metre pool in under eight minutes.
Why not give it a go and see if you have what it takes to save a life at sea?
Dates to be confirmed for the pre-course tests. For more information or to express interest contact Matthew Jessop, RNLI Lifeguard Supervisor, via matt_jessop@rnli.org.uk or call 07717305335.
