A DROP in session for those in need of support is being launched.

St Kentigern Hospice will be offering a listening ear each Thursday from September 27.

The drop-in confidential listening service called Share is run by a team of train volunteers. Residents will be greeted with a warm welcome and a hot drink.

Merith Shorter, counselling manager, St Kentigern Hospice, said: "We are offering a welcoming, informal, listening space for people to come and find a safe place to talk through their feelings with a trained volunteer.

"This could be about the loss of a loved one, support through their illness, or even family issues arising from a past or present stressful situation that is still affecting your wellbeing and stopping you moving forward."

Share will run at 3pm each Thursday at the hospice's new Day Therapy unit at Bowen Court on St Asaph Business Park. Families with no prior connection to the hospice are welcome to attend.
