A 48-year-old man pulled a large hunting knife from his rucksack and threatened a bus driver at Rhyl, a court heard on Wednesday.
Brian Robertson, of Marion Road, Prestatyn, pleaded guilty at Llandudno magistrates’ court to affray at Rhyl bus station last month and having an offensive weapon with which he threatened Phillip Neild-Siddall.
Robertson was bailed for sentencing at Mold crown court on October 4. A bail condition is that he mustn’t be drunk in public.
Prosecutor James Neary said the driver saw Robertson arguing with a colleague and intervened. But Mr Neild-Siddall was pushed and threatened with the knife.
Rebecca Boswell, defending, sought a pre-sentence report.
