A FORMER Mayor of Rhyl has been re-elected to the town council in a by election.
Sarah Louise Roberts lost her seat on the council in the 2017 elections, but has been re-elected in a by election caused by the resignation of former cllr Ellie Jones, Conservative Party.
Cllr Roberts has worked as a teacher, and served as Mayor in 2016.
As a Labour Party candidate she attracted 389 votes, which was 46 per cent of the poll, in a three way contest against Conservative and Liberal Democrat candidates.
