THE Horseshoe Pass is closed once again as firefighters tackle an ongoing wildfire in Llangollen.
Firefighters have been battling the blaze, which began in Llantysilio, since Thursday, July 19.
Yesterday North Wales Fire and Rescue Service told the Leader that parts of the Horseshoe Pass had been reopened but today a spokesman said the whole of the road is closed again.
The closure is to be reviewed at lunchtime, the service has confirmed.
This morning one crew - accompanied by a commend centre vehicle and an offroad vehicle - remained at the site and conducted an inspection of the perimeter.
Plans are in place for more teams to return as efforts to extinguish the fire continue today.
