A person in a wheelchair had to be cut out of a car following a crash in Rhyl.
The wheelchair user had to be taken to Glan Clwyd Hospital, following the incident involving a Volkswagen Golf and a Ford Fiesta at about 6pm yesterday (Wednesday) on Rhyl Coast Road.
A spokesperson for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: "Two vehicles were involved in the collision, which required two crews from Rhyl to release an individual in a wheelchair using cutting equipment.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We responded with one rapid response vehicle and one emergency ambulance, where one patient was taken to Glan Clwyd Hospital, Rhyl.”
The incident was considered a minor injury collision by North Wales Police resulting in no serious injuries.
A spokesman for police added: "At the time, the male driver of the Ford Fiesta left the scene."
