A MAN has died after falling from an aqueduct.
Police are investigating the death of an 18 year-old having been called to the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct World Heritage Site in Llangollen in the early hours of Tuesday morning, after reports a man had fallen.
Inspector Ceri Hawe of North Wales Police said: “A young 18-year-old male has died after falling from the aqueduct in Pontcysyllte in Llangollen.

“The incident was reported to police at 1.05am on May 31.
“North Wales Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances that surround the tragic fall.
“The deceased’s family have been informed.
“Anyone with any information about the tragic incident is urged to call North Wales Police on 101 quoting reference number U078711.”
