THE Electric Light Orchestra were born in the late ‘60s as a coming together of the creative energies of songwriters Roy Wood and Jeff Lynne and final founding member Bev Bevan. Taking their brand of classically-infused pop and rock to both sides of the Atlantic, ELO became one of the biggest-selling rock acts of the 1970s, notching up 10 UK Top 10 albums and 15 UK Top 10 singles. ELO’s eponymous debut album has been painstakingly remastered for its 40th anniversary and expanded with over two hours of bonus material.  Now spanning a CD/DVD double, the album includes the original Quad mix in DTS 96kHz/24 bit 4.1 surround sound, the original stereo master in high-resolution 96kHz/24 bit PCM, the original ‘10538 Overture’ promo film and extensive liner notes charting the history of the release. The 40th anniversary special edition of ‘Electric Light Orchestra’ is also available remastered on double gatefold 180gm vinyl. CD Album + Bonus DVD
