FINALLY the chance to see the definitive version of Apocalypse Now will be available in Bangor this summer.
Forty years after its original release comes a never-before-seen and newly restored cut of Coppola’s spectacular cinematic masterpiece to Theatr Pontio on Saturday, August 17 at 8.15pm.
For anyone fed up with tepid sequels, unnecessary prequels and George Lucas' adding eyes to Ewoks, this is an example of film revisionism done right - with the master director presenting the perfect middle ground between the original theatrical cut and the longer Redux.
Apocalypse Now Final Cut is Coppola’s most realized version of his multi-awarded classic - a haunting cinematic journey into madness that has fascinated generations of movie lovers unlike any other film with unforgettable performances from Martin Sheen, Dennis Hopper and, of course, Marlon Brando.
Tickets are £7.50, with concessions available, to book visit pontio.co.uk or call the box office on 01248 382828.
