HOW much are tickets for a forthcoming Vale of Clwyd production priced at?

Thankfully, they don't cost a fortune!

Denbigh-based Phoenix Players are busy rehearsing and set building for their latest production, entitled Worth a Fortune, which will be available for viewing later this week.

This will be on stage at Denbigh's Theatr Twm o'r Nant from May 16-18 (7.30pm).

Lady Astoria is contemplating changing her will in favour of her nephew Timothy.

With many strong views, against divorce and use of alcohol in particular, she decides to pay an unexpected visit to check that her nephew hasn't inherited what she saw as his father’s dissolute character, which left Timothy in impoverished circumstances.

Since she last saw Timothy at his wedding to Lavinia, he has divorced and remarried.

He and his new wife Ginnie live with Timothy's mother, Lady Sinclair and her dipsomaniac, lecherous brother Walter.

The increasingly tangled web of deception woven by Timothy to secure his inheritance is not helped by his ex-wife or the vicar, but it provides lots of laughter in this comic farce brought to you by Phoenix Players.

Interested people can book tickets online via www.ticketsource.co.uk/phoenixplayersdenbigh from £8 (£6 concessions).

Tickets are also available at Denbigh Library, by calling Pat on 01745 550374 or on the door.
