A BRAND new three day festival will welcome legends of Britpop and dance - as well as a Darth Vader and Peppa Pig - to Rhyl for its inaugural event this summer.

K Fest will take over the Events Arena for three consecutive days of music from Friday, August 2.

Each day will feature a distinct theme, beginning with a K1, a children’s and tribute music day that will pay homage to a variety of acts including Ed Sheeran, Amy Winehouse, Whitney Houston and more, as well as featuring the very special guest Peppa Pig and an appearance from Star Wars: Rogue One actor Spencer Wilding and friends.

K2 on the Saturday will ramp things up with a dance music festival welcoming industry titans Weiss, Judge Jules, Robin S, Prok & Fitch, OC & Verde, Danny Rampling, Seb Fontaine and many more.

Sunday, August 4 will bring the festival home with a indie and live music celebration headed up by “Three Lines” scribes Ian Broudie and The Lightning Seeds, as well as Liverpool band The Farm and Britpop legends Space, alongside EMF, Space Monkeys, Tea Street Band and DDE’s, as well as a variety of music acts from across North Wales.
