On the back of a sold-out tour Billy Ocean will take to Llandudno's headline stage next autumn.

Ocean will embark on a huge UK tour in which he will perform the best of his greatest hits and songs from his latest studio album ‘One World’ at Venue Cymru in 2021.

The Trinidad-British singer is the biggest-selling Black musician the UK has ever produced, with over 30 million record sales in his lifetime to date. He achieved extraordinary success as both an artist and a songwriter in the 1980s, collecting multiple Gold and Platinum records across the world and hit number one spots worldwide in the pop charts of the USA, Australia, Germany, Holland and the UK.

However Ocean's success has continued into the 21st century and his 2016 ‘Here You Are: The Best Of Billy Ocean’ album gained a Top 10 chart position at Number 4 as his highest charting album since 1989.

This year Ocean, who has lived in Berkshire with his wife Judy since 1978, celebrated the 35th year anniversary of his ground-breaking album, 'Suddenly', originally released in 1984. The record spawned the monster hits 'Caribbean Queen (No More Love On The Run)', 'Mystery Lady' and 'Loverboy'.

He also performed a medley of other greatest hits including 'Love Really Hurts Without You, 'Red Light' and 'When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Gets Going'.

The show takes place from 7.30pm on Saturday, September 25.

Tickets range from £28 to £50.50. VIP tickets are available for £92.
