NOTICE OF MAKING OF AN ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATH No. 14 IN THE COMMUNITY OF CWM) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2018
The above order, made on 10th April 2018, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the existing length of footpath described in 1) below to a different line described in 2) below.
1) Description of existing footpath.
That section of Public Footpath 14 in the Community of Cwm in the County of Denbigh commencing from an existing point on the unclassified road known as Brynteg crossroads to Bwthyn marked as point A on the plan at OS Crid Reference SJ 06447 76958 and runs in a south westerly direction along the access road for 57.5 metres to point B on the plan at OS Crid Reference SJ 06399 76929. The path continues south westerly for 21.3 metres to point C on the plan at OS Grid Reference SJ 06388 76908 then slightly south westerly for 110.8 metres to point D on the plan at OS Grid Reference SJ 06283 76888 then finally south westerly for 169.3 metres to point E on the plan at OS Crid Reference SJ 06118 76850 as shown by a solid brown line between the points A-B-C-D-E on the plan contained in the Order.
2) Description of new route.
Which shall be diverted to a different line commencing from an existing point on the unclassified road known as Llys y Delyn to Bryn Mawr junction marked G on the plan at OS Grid Reference SJ 06441 76822 running in a slightly south westerly then north westerly direction for approximately 127.6 metres to point F on the plan at OS Grid Reference Sj 06316 76812 then continuing in a north westerly direction for 201.2 metres to point E on the plan at OS Grid Reference SJ 06118 76850 as shown in green dashes between the points marked G-F-E on the plan contained in the Order.
A copy of the Order and the Order plan have been placed and may be seen free of charge during opening hours at Rhuddlan Library, Vicarage Road, Rhuddlan, and at all reasonable hours at the offices of the undersigned.
Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Head of Legal HR and Democratic Services Denbighshire County Council, County Hall, Wynnstay Road Ruthin Denbighshire not later than 11 th May 2018. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Denbighshire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Welsh Government for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
