RHYL Ladies Development Team finally made their competitive debut after a dispute about their participation was resolved.
The Lilies took the field against Denbigh in their first ever competitive North Wales Women's League clash on Sunday, nearly eight months after the start of the campaign.
The squad have been forced to sit out the season up to now and after the intervention of the Football Association of Wales the team have now been able to commence their competitive fixtures.
Their debut came at home to Denbigh Town Ladies and the team playing their first competitive match played well in a 7-0 defeat.
A club spokesman, said: "For the team the focus is clearly on developing over the coming weeks as they come to terms with playing competitive games on a regular basis and develop as a team under the leadership of Rebekah Hansen and Damian Hughes."
