“Rory is a big part of this being a young and upcoming keeper I’m sure in the next couple of years there will be a lot of interest in him because, what I’ve seen of him this season, he is up there with the best keepers I’ve seen and worked with.

“It’s a great feeling when you know you have a keeper of his ability that wants to be a part of the future of Rhyl Football Club.”

Mike Jones, Rhyl FC managing director, added: “From the club’s point of view, we intend to invest in our young player products and provide the necessary support for them in their footballing careers.

“The benefits of this is that as we build for the future, and continue to try and strengthen our resources it’s important we keep hold of our best talents and if we do this by continuing to work in partnership with some of the best young players we can grow our club to be successful at the top of Welsh football once again.”
