RGC head coach Mark Jones will be helping Abergele Rugby Club gear up for the new season with a series of coaching sessions.

The man at the helm of the Principality Premiership side will be travelling to Pentre Mawr Park to put Gele through their paces at four different training sessions, which will be held on July 30 and August 6, 13 and 20.

Jones will be working on a varied range of skills and conditioning work during the sessions, and other coaches from across the region are welcome to come and observe, with both parties agreeing to this stipulation.

The former Llanelli star and Welsh international has masterminded RGC’s rise to an elite top-flight force, in addition to winning the WRU National Cup for the first time in their history.

He is currently finalising plans for the new season with a host of new faces joining the set-up as the squad looks to keep progressing despite the high-profile departures of Jacob Botica, Alex Schwartz and Tiaan Loots.

Anyone wishing to attend the sessions is urged to contact coach development manager Tim Hoare on 07795 616579 or email THoare@wru.wales.
