RGC head coach Mark Jones has further bolstered his squad ahead of the new Principality Premiership season with the signing of Curtis Reynolds.

The highly touted prop is the latest name to join the ranks at Parc Eirias, and he arrives at the club having impressed for the Gogs in the recent clash with the Welsh national team.

Born in Plymouth to a Welsh dad, Reynolds has been playing for Gala in the Scottish Premiership.

Jones, said: With Phil John focusing on coaching this season it created a gap, so Curtis gives us that depth in the squad.”

His arrival comes just a few short days after the WRU National Cup winners secured the signatures of Dion Jones and New Zealander Alex Taylor.

There was further good news for the Gogs with the news that a number of key figures have agreed extensions ahead of the new campaign.

Senior figures Evan Yardley, Afon Bagshaw, George Roberts have penned new deals, with pacey winger Sam Jones also re-affirming his commitment to the cause.

Another to agree terms was former Rydal Penrhos Rugby Academy prospect Dan Owen, who produced a number of standout efforts last term while also earning four Wales U18 caps as the only North Wales representative in the set-up.

RGC travel to Caldy on Friday, August 18 for a pre-season fixture at Paton Field (7.15pm).
