A busy week of many races and superb results for the Harriers.

Starting Wednesday, two Harriers ran the Llanfairpwll 5k. Simon Bonfield was first home for the club in just 20:29 for 20th position, 9th in his age category MV40. However, Grahame Shone who finished next in a time of 23:04, came first place in his age category MV60, getting himself a new course PB.

Also on Wednesday at the Ruthin Evening 5k, Emma Williams finished in a fantastic time of 23:32, the third senior female to finish.

Two Harriers travelled to Colwyn Heights for the hilly Pen Y Bryn 5k on Friday. Darren Blazier was first home of the club in 3rd place overall with a time of 18:38. Jodi Waters arrived next, shortly afterwards, in 19:00 for 4th place.

On the Saturday, Jodi Waters continues to improve on his park run time with a speedy 18:24 for 5th place, his best result in over a year. Alan Newell secured himself a new park run PB with a time of 22:28 and 29th place overall, beating his next best time by over 3 minutes. Next up arriving in 29:58 was park run newcomer Lorraine Nesbitt for 37th female. Just one second after her, Gary Howgate finished in 29:59 for 137th overall, earning himself the second Abergele Harrier park run PB of the day. Mike Powell and Anthony Howe rounded up the results with Mike running in 34:38 and Anthony doing so in 47:23.

An impressive set of results came from the Run Wales Chirk Half Marathon on Sunday, despite the hills and hot weather, with five Harriers attending. For 3rd place overall and 1st place in his age category MV45-49 came Darren Blazier in 1:25:26 (chip 1:25:25) out of 307 runners.

Next up was Sean Mc Cormack running an excellent 1:35:01 (chip 1:34:59) for 12th place overall and third in his age category MV50-54. His son Steven Mc Cormack joined him at the finish with a close time of 1:35:01 (chip 1:34:59) to come 13th place and 4th senior male. Next up was Simon Bonfield, running in just 1:46:31(1:46:27) for 6th place in his age category MV45-49. Finally, Alan Newell finished for the Harriers in 1:50:32 (chip 1:50:30), 9th place in his age category of MV45-49.

Over at Tatton Park 10k in Cheshire, we had a lone Harrier, Paula Maguire to finish off our run of amazing results. Completing it in a time of 47:39 (47:32 chip) she secured herself a new 10k PB in 81st place and 17th female out of 353 runners to finish.
