Jonny May scored twice as England held off a determined Wales to secure back-to-back NatWest 6 Nations victories.

May ran in the opening try after just three minutes before scoring his and England’s second midway through the opening period.

Wales fought hard in the second half but Eddie Jones’ team held firm to secure a 12-6 victory at Twickenham.

Star man – Owen Farrell

Another sublime performance. Incredible vision to pick out May to send England on their way with less than three minutes gone. Impressive in defence and also carried the ball well.

Moment of the match

Farrell’s pinpoint punt for May’s opener was pretty special but Joe Launchbury’s assist for England’s second was even better. Following a prolonged battering of the Wales try line, the ball popped up to Launchbury on the left and he took the contact from Josh Adams and Rhys Patchell before delivering a mesmerising one-handed offload to May. A mention, too, to Sam Underhill for his incredible last-ditch tackle which saved a certain Sam Williams try in the second half.
