LLANDUDNO Albion have been handed a home tie as they look to book their place in the final four of the Mawddach Challenge Cup.
Paul Cheung’s men produced a sensational performance to oust Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division One leaders Conwy Borough from the competition in the last round, and they will host improving St Asaph City in the quarter-final stage.
Division Two promotion hopefuls Prestatyn Sports will also play their tie at home against a dangerous Llannefydd outfit, while Llanrwst United will take on either Barmouth and Dyffryn United or Llanrug United providing they get past Greenfield.
Ryan Harden’s Llandyrnog United must first conquer Y Felinheli, but the winner has been given a home clash against the struggling duo of Trearddur Bay United or Pentraeth en route to a possible semi-final berth.
Mawddach Challenge Cup quarter-final draw: Llanrwst United/Greenfield v Barmouth & Dyffryn United/Llanrug United, Llandudno Albion v St Asaph City, Prestatyn Sports v Llannefydd, Y Felinheli/Llandyrnog United v Trearddur Bay United/Pentraeth.
