MO Hughes 21-4 and Mark Jones 21-4 pulled off single-figure wins to send promotion candidates Abergele storming to a 10-4 win in Section A at home to Rhuddlan.
Brian Jones managed a 21-15 card as Rhuddlan struggled for points while Dyserth also came unstuck in a 9-5 home defeat by Llandudno. Geraint Roberts 21-11 and Hefin Cunnah 21-12 were Dyserth's unavailing top blocks while St Asaph suffered a 10-4 blow
at title contenders Deganwy Ventilation just a week after themselves routing Denbigh 12-2 for a flying start to the new season. Robbie Jones ran out a 21-3 winner but it wasn't enough to prevent Copperfields from falling 9-5 at home to Llanrwst while Grove Park followed up their 12-2 romp at Mochdre with a 9-5 victory over Anglesey rivals Holyhead.

Kinmel Bay hit the heights at St Asaph B where they came off 10-4 victors to enhance their promotion hopes but Rhyl were on the receiving end again after cashing 10-4 at home the previous week with a 9-5 tumble at Denbigh B.
