RELEGATION threatened Sunny Rhyl clawed their way closer to safety by grabbing a crucial 6-4 win over main rivals Deganwy Jones Roofing at the Botanical Gardens.
The second-from-bottom former champions just shaded the aggregate by nine points after the teams had finished deadlocked with four wins each. On the points count-back Sunny Rhyl took the two bonus points by a 145-136.
