TWO tough league games await Prestatyn Town in the next 48 hours as they aim to maintain a seven-match unbeaten run.

Tonight (Wednesday) the Seasiders face a long trip to Haverfordwest County and then on Friday entertain Bangor City in a dress rehearsal for the Welsh Cup semi-final against the Farrar Road outfit.

Prestatyn are still well-placed in eighth in the Welsh Premier League after Friday night's draw.

It looked like Town were going to end up pointless at one of their bogey grounds until Steve Rogers grabbed a 90th minute equaliser at Deeside Stadium.

In a dire first half Quay looked the most threatening, Jon Hill-Dunt producing fine saves from Jamie Petrie and Michael Hayes. Town's closest call was a Dave Hayes header across the six-yard box which no-one could get a final touch to.

The Nomads continued to boss proceedings after the interval, but Prestatyn could have grabbed the lead when Andy Moran was picked out in space only to be denied by the legs of keeper Terry McCormick.

In the 77th minute Hill-Dunt pulled off a fantastic stop from a Hayes thunderbolt, but from the resulting corner Craig Jones made it 1-0.

Prestatyn were denied a blatant penalty when McCormick clattered Neil Gibson, but in the dying moments Jack Lewis' ball over the defence released Rogers to equalise.
