KINMEL Bay FC are level on points with fourth place in the North Wales Coast East Football League Premier Division after a 1-0 home win against Abergele FC on Saturday (November 11).
This win at Y Morfa puts the Bay alongside Mochdre on 17 points; just four below leaders Meliden, following their 7-3 win versus Llandyrnog and Mochdre’s 1-0 victory against Llansannan.
Abergele lost heavily to Llanfairfechan last week and only have the 2-1 win against Rhuddlan on their current chart.
This was a close match throughout, with just the one Bay goal, from Eliot Turner’s great corner in the 36th minute.
But despite Abergele’s Ryan Pamment’s red card in the 72nd minute, reducing Abergele to 10 men, the game remained difficult for the Bay, with close encounters at each goal throughout the 90 minutes.
