KINMEL Bay have bolstered their attacking options with the signing of prolific forward Kie Ellis.

The talented forward re-joins the Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division Two side after playing a huge part in their title winning campaign last term that saw them promoted to the fourth tier.

Ellis moves back to the Bay after a short spell at Huws Gray Alliance side Prestatyn Town after being brought in by the joint-management team of Leon Field and Ryan Turner.

Field stepped down from his role on Thursday evening, and Ellis has now also decided to move on from the Motion Finance Stadium and return back to more familiar surroundings.

The newly promoted side have made an impressive start to life in Division Two despite losing a host of significantly important squad members and backroom staff during the off-season, and they currently sit in seventh position in the standings after winning three of their opening eight contests.

They will be further buoyed by the return of Ellis, who finished as the club’s top scorer last term in the Vale of Clwyd and Conwy League Premier Division.
