GAERWEN caused a huge stir at the Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division Two summit thanks to a 4-2 win at promotion hopefuls Glan Conwy.

The visitors took the lead on 32 minutes when Gethin Davies found the net, but they were pegged back before the break as goals from Jamie Jones and Jordan Phillips put Glan in the ascendancy at the interval.

After the break saw the visitors turn on the style to seal an eye-catching three points, with Dylan Williams, Connor Jordan and Phil McGrath all converting opportunities throughout the second period.

Y Felinheli head the standings despite being held to a 1-1 draw at newly promoted Kinmel Bay, with a John Griff effort after eight minutes cancelled out by Anthony Colecliff after the interval.

A Robert Jones double propelled Llannerchymedd into third position with a 2-1 home triumph over Mochdre Sports, and Holyhead Town continue to make waves as Joe Donovan and Mark Thomas gave them a 2-0 win over Llannefydd.

Nathan Moore fired in an outstanding hat-trick as Aberffraw thrashed Meliden 4-1 on home soil, and Blaenau Ffestiniog hit four in their 4-0 rout over Amlwch Town.

Pentraeth managed to pick up a valuable point on their travels, with Stephen Taylor firing a two-goal salvo to secure a 2-2 draw at Penmaenmawr Phoenix.
