LLANGEFNI Town Have made a significant addition to their squad with the signing of prolific forward Kevin Lloyd.

The former Caernarfon Town star arrives at the Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division One side from title rivals Llanrug United, and he further adds to a formidable front line that consists of Alan Mark Owen, Liam Morris and Marvin Pritchard.

Manager Chris Roberts, said: "Kev is a player i tried to get in at the beginning of the season but with Charlie going as manager at Llanrug he opted to sign for him.

“Kev is a great signing and will give us another dimension to our attacking play. There is no doubt that Kev knows how to find the back of the net having done so consistently at a high level for many years.

“I am looking forward to working with Kev and having him join up with the rest of the squad. I would also like to thank Charlie, Emyr and all at Llanrug FC who helped with the transfer."

Lloyd is widely regarded as one of the best finishers operating outside of the top two divisions in the Welsh pyramid system, and his experience will be a huge asset to an ambitious Cefni outfit that have begun the campaign impressively.
