LLANGEFNI Town begin their expected Lock Stock Welsh Alliance title challenge with a trip to Llanberis.

Chris Roberts’ side are largely fancied to go one better this time around after finishing second behind eventual champions Conwy Borough last term, and following their opening day clash Cefni visit promotion rivals Llanrug United on August 15.

This will be followed by another huge test on August 18 when they make the trip to Llandudno Albion, before travelling to newly promoted Bodedern Athletic during what looks to be a very tricky start to the campaign.

Town’s away start continues with a visit to Division Two champions Prestatyn Sports on August 25, and they close out their first month of fixtures with an away tie at Trearddur Bay.

Llanrug open their season with a home tie against Llandyrnog United, and they also take on Llanrwst United, Trearddur Bay, St Asaph City and Nantlle Vale in the opening stages of the campaign.

Gwynedd League champions Holyhead Town start life in the fourth tier with a home game against Llanfairpwll, before welcoming Amlwch Town on August 15.

The Harbourmen face a stern test of their credentials when they travel to title chasing Glan Conwy on August 18, before taking on Gaerwen, Llannefydd and Pentraeth during a busy first month of action.
