PRESTATYN Town have announced a series of pre-season fixtures as preparations for the new Huws Gray Alliance season gather pace.

The Seasiders will take part in six friendly matches as part of a busy summer schedule before they return to the second tier after a one-season stay in the JD Welsh Premier League.

They begin on Saturday, July 7 with a tie against AFC Bridgnorth at the Motion Finance Stadium, before welcoming Cwmbran Town one week later on July 14.

This will be followed by a home clash against City of Liverpool FC on Saturday, July 21, and they also get the chance to test their skills against higher league opposition when Town travel to Iwan Williams’ new-look Llandudno on Tuesday, July 24.

The busy series of fixtures continues on Saturday, July 28 when they host Northwich Victoria, and the Seasiders close out their friendlies with a home tie against Widnes Town on August 4.

It promises to be a very different Town squad to the one that finished their top flight campaign under Gareth Wilson, with the manager and a series of high-profile squad members all moving on to pastures new in what has been a dramatic few weeks for everyone associated with the club.

Admission for any of the home fixtures is priced at £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.

The club also announced that Ryan Unsworth has taken over from Tony O’Reilly as their new media officer with immediate effect.
