RHYL Football Club has been selected as one of four wildcard entries to participate in next season's Welsh Premier League Cup.
The Lilywhites will join Flint Town United, Ton Pentre and Welshpool Town as the four successful applicants, and will join 12 sides from the JD Welsh Premier League and six from the Huws Gray Alliance and Welsh League Division One in next season's competition.
Eddie Maurice-Jones’ side earned their place after a sixth-place finish in the second tier last term, together with the recent demotions of Bangor City and Prestatyn Town.
The format of the competition will remain the same as last season, with 24 teams entering round one, with the winners joining the four semi-finalists from 2017/18 in two.
The competition will be regionalised in the first three rounds, with the semi-finals, which this year will be played over a weekend, an open draw.
