PRESTATYN Town have called a supporters’ meeting next week to discuss the recent turmoil surrounding the club.

Seasiders’ CEO Leigh Williams and media officer Tony O’Reilly will be leading the meeting, which will take place at the Motion Finance Stadium on Monday, June 4 from 8pm.

The Journal understands that the pair will be speaking about the recent departures and the plans they have formed to ensure the long-term stability of the Huws Gray Alliance side.

It has been a disastrous pre-season for the side, who were recently relegated from the JD Welsh Premier League and have subsequently lost a host of key squad members including midfield talisman Michael Parker, playmaker Noah Edwards and defender Tom Kemp.

This was swiftly followed by the resignation of manager Gareth Wilson, who decided he was not the right man to take the club forward after seeing his squad decimated.

Two men have put their names forward for the role in the past few days, although no decision has yet been made by the board as they continue to invite applications for the position, per source.

Everyone associated with the club is urged to attend the meeting and put their views across, and Town officials will also be on the lookout for more volunteers to help them out of their current plight.
