PRESTATYN Town duo Michael Parker and Noah Edwards have officially made their moves to Connah’s Quay Nomads.

After The Journal initially reported the transfers a fortnight ago, the JD Welsh Premier League side formally announced the signatures on Monday, May 28.

They are the latest in a series of high-profile squad members to leave the Seasiders following the relegation to the Huws Gray Alliance, Midfield talisman Parker ends a trophy laden decade at the Motion Finance Stadium, where he made more than 200 top flight appearances.

He played a pivotal role in Town’s historic Welsh Cup triumph over Bangor City and their landmark Europa League victory over Latvian side, Liepajas Metalurgs.

Edwards is widely regarded as one of the most promising prospects in the region and turned down the chance to link up with brothers Kai, Zyaac and Zebb at Llandudno in favour of the Nomads.

His performances earned him an invitation to train with the Wales C squad and was a leading light for Wilson’s side last term despite their demotion to the second tier.

Both players will be working with former manager Neil Gibson once again, who is part of the coaching team at the ambitious club.

Manager Andy Morrison, said: "I'm delighted to welcome both Michael and Noah to Connah's Quay.

“I've been a big admirer of Michael for many seasons - his experience and quality will certainly add to our squad.

“I believe Noah has the talent and mentality to play at a much higher level and we look forward to continuing his development."
