A "BESPOKE" voile aimed to boost support for a charity has gone on display at a funeral directors.

Morris Funeral Directors, located in Rhyl, invited Marie Curie volunteers to their premises for the launch of the window. The display - which features a field of daffodils and the charity's logo - will be on display until shortly after the Easter period.

Donna-Marie Williams, administrator at Morris Funeral Directors, said: "They are printed voiles from one of our suppliers. We had them made, incorporating the Marie Curie logo and their signature daffodils.

"We have such a large window space which enables us to advertise and promote anything connected within our industry. We really wanted to support Marie Curie as it is a charity that is local to us and our families.

"We feel that the display, being in such a prominent position on the roundabout, will draw people's attention to the charity. We have a box of daffodils and collection boxes if anyone wishes to pop in and donate."

The business previously carried a window display which supported the The British Legion.

Laura Ellis-Bartlett, community fundraiser for Marie Curie, added: "We are thrilled that Morris Funeral Directors have chosen to support Marie Curie, the Great Daffodil Appeal and the local Marie Curie Nurses and services.

"We'd like to thank everyone who helped put this together to help us spread the word about the local Marie Curie Nurses."
