AN INVESTIGATION has been launched following a series of burglaries.

The incidents - which saw a car stolen and a break-in at a hairdressers - happened overnight between Wednesday, March 14 and Thursday, March 15.

DS Paul Terry, investigating officer at St Asaph CID, said: "Sometime between 10pm and 8am a burglary took place on Bryn Y Felin, Dyserth during which time a white Citroen C3 car reg number CX67 NAA was stolen.

"At the same time a nearby hairdressing business was also broken into and we are clearly linking the two."

Police believe the Citroen is still in the Denbighshire area.

Anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour or activity in the area at the time of the break-in is asked to telephone the force on 101.
