A BRITAIN'S Got Talent winner and her dog will lead Rhyl audiences beyond the looking glass this Easter.

For anyone who is hankering for panto already after Christmas, The Pavilion will continue their springtime tradition with Alice in Wonderland this month starring 2012 Britain’s Got Talent winner Ashleigh Butler and new companion Sully.

While Lewis Carroll's story surely needs no introduction, Alice's search for the white rabbit and down a rabbit hole has been brought to life with all of the cherished pantomime flourishes by Anton Benson.

Returning to Rhyl, Benson said: “A panto is for life and not just for Christmas.

“The regulars at our home venues love our annual Christmas shows and given how much of a hit our productions of Beauty and the Beast and Robin Hood have been was with audiences around the country the last two Easters, we are delighted to be touring our third hilarious Easter production.”

The 2012 Britain’s Got Talent star, who won with former companion Pudsey, will venture into a Wonderland ruled by Men Behaving Badly’s Leslie Ash in a tyrannical turn as the Queen of Hearts, and inhabited by the iconic, outrageous, Mad Hatter played by Get Your Own Back’s Dave Benson Phillips

Adding to the menagerie of madness for this trip tare Ryan Greaves as Wally the White Rabbit, Phylip Harries as the dame Duchess Dolly and Kate Salmon as the Cheshire Cat - with guest appearances from Queen of Hearts hapless henchmen Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.

Audiences can expect two and a half hours of toe-tapping song and dance, stunning costumes and fantastic sets with special effects all wrapped up in a surprisingly humourous take on the children's classic.

So venture back down the rabbit hole for another wonderful trip into Wonderland at the Pavilion on Thursday, March 29 at 7.30pm and Good Friday 30 at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

Tickets are £15 with concessions. To book, visit rhylpavillion.co.uk or call the box office on 01745 330000.
