TRAVELLERS have swiftly moved on after pitching up on hospital's park and ride site.
The parking service, which runs from the former Hotpoint factory site in Bodelwyddan, has been temporarily suspended.
The shuttle service at Bodelwyddan transfers patients to and from Glan Clwyd Hospital.
It is understood the travellers arrived overnight and left late on this morning. The area will remain closed whilst a clean up operation is carried out.
A spokesperson for Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board said: "Our park and ride service at Glan Clwyd Hospital has been temporarily suspended due to travellers settling on the site.
"We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused to our patients and site visitors. We’re working with North Wales Police resolve the issue as soon as possible.
"While we’re working to restore the park and ride service, we urge anyone planning on visiting the hospital over the coming days to allow more time for their journey and consider using public transport to visit the site.
"We would also ask staff working at Glan Clwyd if they are able to car-share with colleagues."
