Residents of a sheltered housing scheme have dubbed an Abergele IT technician their "high-tech hero" for his work helping them get online.
Steve Jones, of Spider Technologies on Clwyd Avenue, has been presented with a gift by residents at Pentre Mawr sheltered housing, for his work delivering Wi-Fi access throughout the scheme.
Alison Pring, Warden at the Clwyd Alyn Housing Association Sheltered Housing Scheme said:“The Wi-Fi has caused great excitement and a new thirst for technology. Steve Jones took time to meet with each resident individually, answered all their questions and solving many a problem.
“It was a difficult operation due to the scheme, being a Grade 2 Victorian stone built manor house.
“Steve has done a brilliant job and gone above and beyond helping residents at the same time. He's their high tech hero.”
