AN amnesty for overdue library books is being launched to encourage residents to return overdue items.
Denbighshire’s Library Service is launching a three week amnesty running until July 22 allowing residents to return overdue library books, DVDs or CDs without being fined.

Any fines and charges due on items which have already been returned – irrespective of the time scale – can also be erased.

Items can return anonymously to Rhyl Library, Russell House and Rhyl Town Hall.
