St. Asaph II 87 all out
Menai Bridge II won by 116 runs
SAINTS SECONDS endured a tough afternoon of cricket on Saturday, going down by 116 runs to table topping Menai Bridge.
A couple of quick wickets for Warren Edwards early in the innings had offered some hope of a suprise result for St. Asaph, but two strong performances from middle-order Menai players saw them turn the match in their favour.
Edwards and Jimmy Vaughan then added 22 and 24 respectively with the bat, but their scores proved to be the best of the day for the Saints, as they weer bowled out for 87 from 38 overs, 116 runs short of their target.
