POLICE are appealing for witnesses who saw vandals deface benches in a Rhuddlan beauty spot.

The incident took place on the library park on Vicarage Lane in Rhuddlan, on the afternoon of Sunday, June 6.

Names had been written on the benches in permanent marker. Four youths were interviewed regarding the damage, but police are appealing for anyone who may have been in the vicinity of the park, or anybody who may have information, to come forward.

Anybody who may have witnessed the damage being caused, or anybody who may have information is asked to contact PC 2625 Sarah Gunning at Rhuddlan Police Station on 101, or Crimestoppers Wales anonymously on 0800 555 111.
