A RAFT of proposed changes to on-street parking in Ruthin are planned by Denbighshire County Council.
The changes will be discussed at a public meeting today (July 1).
A review of on-street parking restrictions in the town has already taken place and the county council has now developed proposals for amendments to existing parking restrictions, as well as new restrictions.
The council proposals have been drafted to improve traffic management, road safety and the environment through removing any obstructive parking, also taking into account the needs of businesses, residents and visitors.
The restrictions include: no waiting at any time, no waiting or loading between designated times and limited waiting e.g 30 minutes no return.
An information session will be held in the education room at Ruthin Craft Centre on Thursday, July 1 from 10am to 8pm.
People can drop in and speak to council officers any time during the day.
Any comments or observations received will be recorded.
If you would like further information on the proposals before the information session or would like to arrange to view the proposals, contact Peter Lea on 01824 706950.
Those unable to attend and would still like to comment should forward their responses to: Head of Highways and Infrastructure, Denbighshire County Council, Caledfryn, Smithfield Road, Denbigh, Denbighshire, LL16 3RJ.
The envelope should be marked Ruthin Town Centre Traffic Management Proposals, the closing date for comments is July 9.
