PRESTATYN Town will begin the new Welsh Premier League campaign as they started the last one - with a trip The New Saints.

Last year saw Prestatyn crushed 5-0 before embarking on a successful season that saw them qualify for the new Super 12s league. They will be looking for a significantly better result when they travel to Park Hall on Friday, August 13.

Prestatyn's opening home fixture is against Haverfordwest on Saturday, August 21.

Following Rhyl's ejection from the top tier of Welsh football, Bangor City will be the Seasiders' festive fixtures this year. Prestatyn travel to Farrar Road on Boxing Day, before hosting the return on New Year's Day.

The regular season is scheduled to end in mid-January after all sides have met twice, after which the league will split into two. The top six clubs will again meet twice, with the bottom six clubs playing each other on two more occasions in a 32 game season.
