PRESTATYN’S North Wales county tennis player Rogan Egerton has been seeded number one in the Mackenzie Jones North Wales Open on his home courts at Gronant Road.
The main threat to Egerton, a former British junior international and ranked number two in Wales, could come from Peter Dowdeswell, a former Welsh Junior champion and county team-mate of Egerton's Sam Lees from Rhos-on-Sea.
Wales international Emily Williams of Prestatyn will be aiming to make it a club double when she defends her ladies singles crown and will be up against present Welsh junior under-14 champion Emily Watson of Colwyn Bay.
The event, which got underway on Monday, will climax on Saturday with finals day.
